I have a light fixture on the front porch that has just started to flicker and sputter over the past week. I changed out the bulb, thinking it was about to go bad and it still flickers. What do you think the problem is?

Lights more than likely start to flicker due to loose wires and/or connections. Something inside the connection box has probably worked it way loose. You can turn off the electricity to the fixture and make sure that the connections are fastened securely, that the wire nuts are tight and then reattach the fixture and turn the electric back on. It is important that if you do not understand and are not familiar working on electric, please recognize the importance of using a licensed electrician.
